Heyyyyo! I’m the laid-back smiling gal you’ll see behind the camera at your portrait session! It’s not in my nature to have a boring time! A senior client once asked me during our shoot what my favorite part of being a photographer was, and I responded, “This part, right here!” Meeting new people, finding artistic angles and composition, and seeing my clients light up when they realize just how WELL they’re rockin’ their session when they see the back of the camera - THAT’s joy for me. Over a decade in, and I still get butterflies before each session, because it’s important for me to do my absolute best, and I’m just plain excited to be there!

Here’s some other fun stuff:

• I believe that all people deserve to be treated with love, respect, and kindness.

• Queen of blue jeans, stretchy pants, and t-shirts!

• Definitely a non-fiction snob, and only recently started reading fiction books on the prompting of my sister. (I admit I’m starting to enjoy it!)

• I love all the animals and can occasionally be found rescuing stranded turtles from the middle of the road.

• I never ever get tired of Friends and Gilmore Girls episodes.

• Despite my name, I actually despise Texas summers and spend May-September longing for hoodie weather!

• Type 2 or 4 on the Enneagram - what about you? (My number changes each time I take it and I’m unsure what that means about me!)

• To be honest, I struggle with anxiety, but I’m working on it. Do you struggle too? We can tackle this thing together!

• I love being behind the camera, but am kind of awkward when it’s pointed in my direction.

• When I was a child, my dream was to become a Shamu trainer when I grew up. Still haven’t quite “made it” yet I guess!
